Guidelines

The Guidelines for Residents and Guests have been prepared by the POA Board of Directors to ensure that Pawleys Plantation remains a safe and beautiful residential community, where residents and guests can enjoy its wonderful lifestyle and excellent recreational opportunities.

The guidelines are intended for property owners, personal visitors, rental guests, and vendors and contractors of POA property owners as well as of  Pawleys Plantation LLC.  We strongly encourage you to become familiar with these Guidelines.

Also included below are Guidelines for Landscape Contractors and the Hurricane Readiness Procedures.  The latter are to be used as guidelines for residents and guests in preparing for the threat of a major storm in our area.

Notice

POA Phone Directories

If you have not yet received your 2010 POA Telephone Directory, please pick one up at the Main Entrance Guard House.

Golf Cart Registration

If you own a golf cart and drive it within Pawleys Plantation, you are required to obtain a new registration decal.  Even if you have registered your golf cart in the past, it must be re-registered to receive a new decal.  The application form is on the Legal Docs tab.  As a reminder, all golf cart drivers must have a valid driver's license, the vehicle must be insured, and all state and local traffic laws must be adhered to.

E-mail Contact Information

Even if you don't want to have your e-mail address published in the POA Telephone Directory, it would be helpful if you provide your e-mail to the POA so that we can contact you regarding hurricane warnings or other critical information.  If you prefer, your e-mail will not be published in the directory, but will only be used to notify you about critical items.  If your e-mail address is not listed in the directory, click on the left e-mail box, above, to provide it to us for inclusion in the 2011 directory.
